With more oats and lactose than is sensible to brew with, this beer delivers a super sweet, viscous body and silky finish. Add to that cocoa nibs, a good dosing of vanilla, milky Perle and fruity Aurora hops, it's delectably dessert-like. It does as it says on the tin; tastes like ice scream. If you take a little more time to enjoy it, you get fluffy whipped cream, bursts of strawberry fromage frais and refreshing cream soda rolling around your palate; childish nostalgia couldn't taste better. Made in collaboration with London Amateur Brewers to mark their 10th anniversary.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; hazy amber pour with a thin creamy off white head, aroma has creamy malts and a hint of vanilla, taste has cream soda, some creamy peach, citrus, vanilla, ok.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours cloudy orange-gold with a frothy, white head. Nice aroma, some orange, nips of vanilla, citrus rind, pale bread, brioche. Medium sweet flavour with semi-ripe citrus fruits, some gooey orange, nips of vanilla, pale bread. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Fairly sweet in the finish, with more bready pale malts, juicy and lightly gooey citrus, orange, touches of vanilla.. Pretty fun overall.
