Hints of lavender, tea and green apples abound in this English hopped pale ale brewed in conjunction with hop supplier Charles Faram.
Why Congregation? Well it was brewed in the Church of Beer and as well as our congregation of customers we wanted to highlight the endangered lapwing who gather in congregations. The UK population of the lapwing has declined by 55% since 1967.

Cask at the Peterborough Beer and Cider Festival 2024 with Grumbo and ITFCDan. Aroma is green tea, lavender, apple and orange. Taste was bitter, like the strong part of a herbal tea with the bag still left in the cup. Finishes dry. A bit of a room splitter, but does what it says on the cask.
