Biere de Mars was traditionally brewed right after the hop harvest and lagered in cellars for several months before being consumed. This extended conditioning period results in a cleaner tasting beer with very few esters. We brewed our Biere de Mars with all French hops and 40% Spelt, an ancient hard-grained heirloom wheat to give it a rustic flavour, full body and creamy texture.

On tap at Green Beacon, Brisbane on 6th September 2015. Hazy brown with off-White head and spot lacing. Very yeasty aroma. Sweet and tangy apple and toffee flavour in-mouth. A sweet and caramely finish. Zingy mouthfeel and medium body.
