The official Odense sunny Thursday evening in June monster tasting event. Dark ruby brown with a small off-white head. Strong and somewhat one-dimensional licorice aroma. Sweetish malty flavour with licorice and a bit of fruit

Bottle @ Odense Tasting, June 2012 (SfHOdense). Pours dark amber with a small creamy head. Piratos - salty liquorice. Herbal and one dimensional. Medium bodied.

On tap. Pours a clear orangey brown with no head. Heavy star anise aroma. Light body, dry licorice accents, but no real maltiness, not much hops either. But very drinkable for what it is. 110512
