Cask at the Crown Inn, Kinghorn. Fife bus and train jaunt. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light citrus and biscuit. Taste is more of the same. Clean finish. Not bad.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 2nd August 2025. Slightly hazy amber with shallow foam and full lacing. Pungent and fruity in aroma, liquid and finish, with citrus notes. Smooth mouthfeel and a light body.

Cask at the Feathers and Star, Wirksworth, 06/06/2025.
Light golden blonde topped with a lasting white head, lacing ensues.
Nose is stewed fruits, grass, herb, grains.
Taste comprises straw, modest citric fruit, stale bread, herb.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close.
So so affair ... doesn't offer much.

Cask at the Cornfeld Garage JDW, Eastbourne. Poured a hazy golden colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, light citrus, yeast. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a smooth, somewhat light, fresh, light grassy, light citrus, hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

20/4/2024. Cask at The Artichoke, Norwich. Pours clear bright golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is starchy, nutty, husky, lemony, herbal, straw. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Mucky edge developed. Hope this wasn’t as the brewer intended.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a golden yellow with minimal white head. Just some vague floral hops in the aroma. In the mouth there’s an initial burst of sweetness before it very quickly becomes somewhat bitter. Flavour has toffee, banana, citrus and lemon plus trraces of toast, cheesecake and lucozade. Finish is sweet and zesty. Nice enough but a bit of a mess.
