Bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear red with a thick creamy head, slightly too fizzy. Aromas of red fruit and toffee. Taste is more of the same. Light sweet finish.

Bottle picked up at Inverurie Whisky Shop. It pours deep ruby red with gigantic foamy off-white head. The aroma is fairly sweet, red fruits, jammy action, Victoria sponge cake, a bit woody and earthy. The taste is dry, toothy, earth, wood, caramel, toffee, red fruit, light strawberry and a bit of Victoria sponge. Average body and high, foamy carbonation. Other than it being a bit too carbonated, this works out well for the style.

Bottle thanks to James. Appearance - lively on opening. So big head. Reddish brown. Nose - cherries, redcurrants and strawberries. Taste - more red fruit. Underlying sweet toffee note. Palate - close to medium bodied and creamy. Nice taper and linger. Overall - well made beer.

Cask-conditioned at the Bon Accord, Glasgow 2 October 2018. Deep amber, with a slight, off-white, head. Sweet caramel and red fruits, leafy hops, slightly toasty malts and a pleasantly bitter finish. Fine.
