This pours a clear copper colour, a finger of foam and good lacing.

The smell is of apple sugar and a hint of the hops that they say on the label.

Tastes better than it smells to me. Sugary, yes, but it comes across to me as similar to some malt attributes that I have noticed in other non gluten free beers. Apple taste is there and I think it contributes rather than detracts from the overall taste. Very little hint of hops but at this point, it just doesn’t matter.

Decent mouthfeel for the lowish abv.

Interesting. I’m not sorry that I bought it but there’s little chance of a repurchase despite my not negative review.

Probably the best gluten free beer that I have tried - though that is faint praise. +++ Sampled from a 16.9 oz brown bottle this beer poured an orange-caramel color with a medium sized soapy orange-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was grainy and dryish with a bit of toffee. The flavor was bitter and tart with vague citrus, a bit of perfume and light notes of toffee and nut. Medium length dryish citrus and toffee finish. Medium body. Ok.

Interesting aromas of fruits. Light stone fruit and citrus? Nice copper color with a beige head that just flattened. Flavor is really different. Suggests a little cola, and there is a touch of dark fruit. Something vinous, like it spent some time in a brandy barrel. It is not as dry or bitter as I’d expect. Finish is fruity/floral. Extremely unusual, but very good for gluten free. Probably the best such I have tried, though the Quest ales are also good.

Crystal clear amber body with a small frothy white head. Very sweet sugary aroma. Very sweet apple flavor with a syrupy ending.
