I got this beer through my beer club. I am not familiar with the brewer. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer pours a bright reddish bronze color with a small tan head that fades quickly. The aroma is sweet malts with a hint of nut and a light spicy hop element. The flavor is sour malts with a moderately strong floral hop character. The finish is light and hoppy.

Very similar in nature to their pale ale. A bit darker, giving it an almost orangey amber color. A little more malt and fairly more bitter - but otherwise about the same. Again, the malt tastes somewhat musty and acrid. Hop bitterness is overdone, dominating a light bodied malt base. No hop flavor or aroma to speak of...just a general bitter mustiness.
