Pigs Ear BF. Low key roasty grain aroma. Dark and glossy. Washing up liquid frothy off-white head. Light bitter. Malty. Gains bitterness into finish. Thin. Light. Flat. Abrupt finish. Pretty fecking boring, to be honest.

One-third pint, cask ale at Murderers. Patchy, fawn-coloured head leaving dotted spots on the glass. Body is black with rustic hints. Dark dough and berry fruits on the nose. Taste of black currants and mid-sweet dough. Mid-sweet endnotes. Fine bodied. Smooth on the swallow. Likable. (Norwich 08.07.2017).
