Can from the Advent calendar. Pours a clear orange hue with a medium white head. A light grassy fruity nose. Rich, big metal, very odd bitterness. Soft bread. It's ok once you get beyond the negatives. Not footbalmed.

Advent Calendar: golden with white head. Grassy vegetal aroma. Grassy and moderately bitter taste. OK. Basically.

Can from the Kalea German beer advent calendar. Clear amber colour with a lasting cream head. Malty aroma, some sherbet hop aroma. Interesting, does this have an ale yeast? I guess it's an amber ale. A little paperyness on the finish. Some hop bite. It's not terrible but not great either. I can knock it back but the flavour leaves a little to be desired. bitter finish grows and is pleasant.
