Handpump cask at Pigs Ear 2017 - Hackney. Pours black-brown with a frothy, light tan head. Mellow roast in the nose, burnt pine, cocoa, orange peel. Light-medium sweet flavour with more citrus fruit, ashy roast, more burnt pine, some resin. Light to medium bodied withfine carbonation. Subtly resinous finish, with burnt toast, a little more ash, baking cocoa, more torched pine, ripening citrus, rindy bitterness. Solid low ABV CDA. Drinks good.
