Rinse Repeat - Citra Brut

Gentle, citric IPA, loaded with grapefruit, lemondrops, lychee, and lime, offering up a smidgen of bitterness on the back end. The whole "no sweetness" thing isn't quite accurate--there's a mild candy undercurrent rounding out the fruity hop notes--but the back end grows dry and somewhat mild. Front-loaded, sure, but the opening salvo of hoppy goodness carries the pint, and damned if the nose isn't a grapefruit wonderland. Pours a hazy gold with a lingering white cap and endless lacing. Pillowy, easygoing texture makes the glass empty much too quickly. Nice beer.
