bottle from Bierpost. Amber brown with a tall, creamy off-white to beige head. Malty, some caramel, some dried fruits, earthy and very slightly fruity hops in the finish. Well balanced, easy drinking brown ale.

500ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, reddish, dark brown colour with small to average, creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Minimally sugary, caramel malty aroma with a nutty touch of hazelnut, nougat, cautious hints of malt lozenge, rock sugar, a doughy yeasty touch, hoppy overtones with earthy hints of red berries. Taste is minimally dry, earthy, nutty dark malty, grassy, leafy, minimally fruity hoppy ovetones with a touch of red berries, tobacco, cautious hints of Brazil nut, hazelnut, nougat; light, slightly watery, So-so.

“Vielanker Brown Ale“, Flasche (50 cl) von Getränke Hoffmann, Berlin. - Dunkelrotbraun, trüb. - In der Nase warmes Toast- und Dunkelmalz von würziger Tiefe und dezente fruchtige Herbe (Trockenobst). - Antrunk kräftig dunkelmalzig mit Karamel und Kakao und aromatischer, kräuteriger Hopfung (Tettnanger, Wai-iti und Rakau meldet das erfreulich informative Etikett). Dezente Malzsüße. Mild rezent, schlank, schön trocken. Im Abgang kräftige krautige Herbe, latent säuerliche Note. Derb bitterer Nachtrunk. - Angenehmes aber noch etwas unrundes Brown Ale.

Aroma is moderate malty, bread, dark malt, caramel, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, caramel, toffee, dark malt, malt extract. 50cl swing top bottle. A clear orange brown beer with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. Aroma of reddish malt, red fruits, caramel and diacetyl. Taste of medium sweet reddish malt, caramel, diacetyl.

(swing top bottle) Hazy, dark amber to brown colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Slightly sugary and moderately toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, nutty accents and hints of butter, vanilla and a fruity touch of dried fruits/figs. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter-tart flavour, rather light bodied with a soft carbonation. Slim and slightly toasted malty base with notes of caramel, bread crusts, traces of chocolate and leather; sweet-bitter finish with slightly toasted, subtle fruity and spicy notes. Likeable. 09.VI.17
