Der malzige Duft aus Karamell und Toffee leitet wunderbar den Geschmack ein. Angenehm malzig und süß im Antrunk. Die Hopfenbittere hält sich dezent im Hintergrund. In unserem Vielanker Brown Ale verbleibt das besondere malzbetonte Aroma noch lange bis zum Ausklang.

Swing top bottle 50 cl. Hazy, orangey brown with a beige head. Greasy, dirty hop aroma atop some slight nuttiness. Medium body, some slight roastiness and toffee. Lowish carbonation. Subdued bitterness. Not much of a Brown Ale. 061123

Bottle, Bierzwerg. Cloudy chestnut brown, golden cream. Spicy earthy hop nose, english herbal notes. Medium light body, dry herbs, salt, mineral, Citrus, lemon balm finish. Classic British interpretation with a fresh twist.

Bottle, 5.0%. Papery and nutty aroma. Hazy dark brown colour. Good stable tan head. The flavour is papery and nutty at first, but also has a good spicy and herbal hoppiness. A bit watery, but flavorful for the ABV.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Fine roasty malty aroma, hints of caramel. Starts fine malty, spicy, herbal notes. Light sourish touch. Finish could be a bit more balanced. But still quite drinkable. Okay.

23-01-21 // 500ml bottle shared. Brown or Red Ale? Malt forward initially with carmel malt sweetness. Minimal toasted malts. A mild hop note to it. A bit flat to the end. Okay.
