Cask at th Prince Regent - Marylebone, London. Pours clear russet with a light, foamy white head. Aroma of tangy bread and leaves. Light sweet flavor with mildly astringent leafy bitterness, some dried berries. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Astringent bitter leaf finish, mild bready sweetness. Seems to be in sub-par condition.

Cask at The White Horse in Parson’s Green, London on 6 July 2013. Poured a clear amber with a creamy off white head. Light aroma of some grainy malt and a little resiny hop. Initial cereal flavours with hints of currents it offset by a rather unbalanced, astringent bitterness.

On tap @ the Haymarket. Pours a nice chestnut brown with some red hues. The nose has a lot of biscut malt things going on with just a hint of hoppiness which comes across as grapes. The taste is fairly similar with more body coming through. The palate is chunky but well balanced. Overall, a decent swalley!
