Golden colour with a fair amount of head. Didn’t have that rather nasty sulpherous smell that some of the other Marstons beers have. Quite a nice, floral aroma and a fresh taste, a little lower on hops than the avarage blonde beer, which was a nice change, a good malt, fruity sweetness balanced it quite well.

Cask handpull at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Jumping on the US hop blonde beer bandwagon. Gold colour, thick cream head. Slight burton snatch aroma. Citrus hops too. Pretty good condition in the mouth. Then US hop finish, so not surprised it says it has Cascades. It’s fine and perfect for summer.

[Cask at Charlies Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy orange beer with a small bubbly off-white head. The aroma is sweet with a light citrusy note - a bit too light for my liking. The flavor is sweet, but soon the hops starts to dominate with notes of citrus, leading to a bitter hoppy end.
