Pilsner has been a style we’ve produced from day one. We were one of the very first micro-breweries in London to produce a lager style beer. A classic pilsner, hopped with Saaz which adds pleasant floral, spicy and herbal overtones to the beer.

Tap at Craft Room. Hazy golden body. Lasting big thick white head. Slightly flowery, honeyish aroma. Clean lager, clean maltiness slightly papery (not oxidated), light classic hoppiness. Not that Czech looking at the malt profile. Okay lager. Nothing more nothing less.

Keg sample at the brewery. A pale yellow straw coloured pour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet cereal, honey, hints of apple. Flavour is composed of weird plastic notes, sweet cereal, a little diacetyl , buttery, sweet grains. Palate is medium sweet, moderately crisp, moderate carbonation. Meh.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey, slightly faint golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Pale malty aroma with some malt spiciness, minimally citrusy hoppy overtones with a touch of lemon, grass and tea. Taste is grassy hoppy, hints of tea, a touch of tobacco leaves, green apple, a minimally strawy touch. Not bad.

Bottle@The Railway, Streatham, London (07/06/2015) - golden pour with a great white head. Grassy hoppy aroma and taste, some citrus lemon, straw, some floral hoppy nuances as well, crisp on the palate, refreshing easy drinking pils. Lovely.
