Experimental hop IPA brewed with all 2-row malted barley in order to allow the hops their full expression. Solely hopped with variety HBC 472 – a variety still in trial phase. Characterized by it’s unusually high content of the terpene Caryophyllene, which adds a super charge of coconut, oak, and spice notes. Intriguing and enlightening to the wide variety of flavors that can be added to beer purely through hops alone.

Catching up on ratings. Scores were recorded at the time but not notes. This was a massive tasting at Second District when I had a layover in PHL between Bermuda and Dublin....so what else do you do but go to a craft bar. And, my wife's cousin met me out for some brews!

A hazed blonde ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with resinous citrusy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous citrusy floral hops, light tropical fruits, very nice and smooth. On tap at brewery.
