Bottle shared with Erwin Van Moll @ Van Moll Brewpub. Opaque pitch black color, average sized light brown colored head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, cognac indeed coming through. Taste malts, dark and roasted malts, cognac, malt bitter. Hard to discover more flavors. Perhaps lightly some liquorice notes but I'm not sure. Hmm lacks depth I'd say. Mwah.

Bottle. Gusher. Color: Black, dense stable brown head. Aroma: Malt, chocolate, notes of Cognac. Taste: Medium to over medium sweet dark roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, notes of molasses. Towards the finish boozy Cognac notes. Boozy Cognac and dark chocolate finish. Full body, soft carbonation. Bit foamy. Sticky moithfeel. Nice dark Porter with pretty strong Cognac taste.
