Bottle from IrishBoy - Thanks a bunch Richard. Pours a dark ruby amber with a decent off-white head. Heavy rye and spice aromas. Medium body with almost creamy carbonation. Flavor is spicey rye with floral and I think citrus hops. Very tasty indeed.

Growler from Brewpub, is also bottled. Nose of rye breadiness, and a bunch of floral hops with a touch of ivy. Translucent copper with a medium beige head that laces lightly. Flavor shows lots of rye along with the the hoppy bitterness and peppery spiceness. Finish a nice long bitterness. More hoppy than the 2007 with this new recipe.12/10/2008 Last cellared bottle 7/16/19. Hops have disappeared, now more a barleywine with toffee, rye bread, a light sweetness with just a hint of contrasting bitterness, and just a slight hint of oxidation. Actually it has aged amazingly well as I prefer it to the sixer of 2019 Bigfoot I have been drinking this week.
