A brown porter with a thick moka head. A light chocolate aroma, with sweet nutty notes. In mouth, a light chocolatey porter, a bit herbal, light and boring. On tap at brewpub, August 27 2009.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours a near blackish brown with a creamy tan head. Aromas of chocolate and dark malt. Body is at least medium and the carbonation is strong. Flavor is chocolate and dark lightly burnt malt, with some definite hop bitter. Started a little harsh, but it smoothed out. Some sweetness is noticeable with warming. There’s chocolate in the finish and I didn’t get any coffee. Robust is an appropriate description.
