Pint can - clear dark copper - nose and flavor of rich caramelized maltiness, with underlying bright fruitiness, vanilla - dries out a little near the finish and gets a little spicy, adding some crusty dark bread flavors - pretty darn smooth - finishes with slight bitterness and lingering alcohol warmth - I quite dig it.

Thanks to Emily. Brown with a frothy head. Roasted cereal aroma with very faint caramel. Taste is roasted bitter. Finishes with an increasing hoppy bitterness. Medium-bodied, mild carbonation. Not the most complex, but a decent take on the style.

On tap at the brewery. Pours cloudy copper with a small off-white head, some lacing. Toasted malts, nutty, caramel, vanilla. Good

Clear dark colour with almost no head. Medium malty aroma. Very full malty taste, sweet but not too sweet. A tiny bite in the long finish
