(Sample @ MBCC 2017 Blue Session, Copenhagen) Pours a deep amber with a small head. Notes of very floral honey, very light berry/fruity notes, caramel, not really obviously oxidized or fortified wine-like, lightly spicy chili heat in the finish, a touch of booze. Medium bodied, a little thin feeling, basically flat. Eh, it doesn't end up feeling particularly blueberry or port-influenced, and I could have done without the chili addition. Okay.

Draught @ MBCC '17 [ Blue Session ]. - Mikkeller Beer Copenhagen Celebration 2017, Øksnehallen, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 København V, Danmark. [ As Sahtipaja Blueberry Port Melomel - Chipotle ].Clear medium amber yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy honey, blueberry, spicy honey. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, tart, berry - blueberry, buzzy, spicy - chili warm - chili bitter, hot chili finish. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat, finish feel is warm chili and light alcoholic. [20170512] 7-3-6-3-11
