Pours a quite deep red, a bit darker than usual per style, moderate haziness. Low sized but quite compact and stable white head, moderate lacing. Average intensity in the aroma: mainly malty notes with quite strong caramel, nuttiness, a hint of toffee, light hints of jam-like citric fruitiness (tangerine most noticeable), a touch of earthy hoppiness. Not especially clean or well defined, malty sweetness takes the main stage. More nitid/clean in taste than the smell suggested. Taste notes as per aroma, malty sweetness now a bit less prominent, more nitid fruitiness, plus the slighest refreshing herbal hoppiness. Still quite sweet for the style with a sweet edge in the mouth and a balanced, semi dry finish. Body is medium to light, medium to light carbonation; both a bit more carbonated and a bit more dense in body than usual per style. Still pretty sessionable. Goodish, not impressed.
