Subtle, tart and complex Appalachian Wild Ale. Brewed with local barley, rye and wheat. Aged in a single Lake James Cellars red wine barrel. Fermented with mixed house cultures atop 1lb/gallon of fresh high country wild plums in the barrel.

MBCC. Hazy peach with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, plum and lemon. Flavour is malt, fruit, plum, lemon, tart, little sweet and citric.

Draught @ MBCC 2017. Pours hazy peach with an offwhite head. Aroma is sour, yeast, tart fruity, unripe plums. Flavor is rather sour, yeast, wood, tart fruit, plum. Medium body, average to lively carbonation, acidic finish. 120517

[5/12/17] Draught at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017. Blue session. Hazy pinkish orange. Funk, spiciness, earth, tart, juicy, fruits. Very good and refreshing.

Sample at MBCC 2017. Reddish/orange with a small head. Aroma and taste of fruit, funk, citrus. The body was light and the finish sour.

Draft - Funky soured grains. Cloudy orange pink with a decent white head. Soured hops with a tiny touch of red fruit.

0,05l from tap at MBCC blue session shared with / by the crew. yellow / pinkish hazy color, small white head. smells of funk, peppery, spices, some fruity notes. nice smell. light body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes citric, grassy, lightly acidic, fruity. finishes lightly dry and sour with notes of citrus, grass and some light fruity notes. rather nice one. 7, 4, 7, 3, 15
