(Tap sample @ MBCC 2017 Blue Session, Copenhagen) Pours a deep red with a small whitish head. Notes of blackberries and malt with a bit of caramel sweetness, wet oak, tart, a bit citric, lightly yeasty, moderate funk, lightly herbal accents that are not particulary fennel/anise heavy. Overall impression is moderately sour, but with an undercurrent of sweetness, rather dry into the close. Light to medium bodied, average carbonation. Very solid fruity sour, was hoping for a bit more fennel expression but it was tasty as is.

Draught @ MBCC '17 [ Blue Session ]. - Mikkeller Beer Copenhagen Celebration 2017, Øksnehallen, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 København V, Danmark. [ As Fonta Flora Big Shrug ].Unclear medium red colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, berry, sweet berry, blackberries, tart notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, berry, sweet berry, tart berry, blackberries, light funky, light spicy notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170512] 7-3-8-3-15

Draught @ Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017 - Blue Session
Pours slightly hazy red with a pink head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, berries and cherries. Taste is light to medium sweet and light sour with a long slightly dry, berry and funky finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Sexy little bottle thanks to torrey. Pours out a muddy pink purple topped with a ring of a head. Nose is funky fennel I guess berries maybe even pickles and barrel. Taste is more of the berries oak barrel and a funky sour.

Tap@MBCC May 2017, Copenhagen - scarlet red pour with almost no head at all. Sour prominent blackberry fruity notes, light yeasty and malty, blackberry soaked oak wooden accents, tough of herbal nuances from the fennel into the close.

Bottle into a teku showing dark vinous red with no head. The nose shows very tart notes of blackberries. The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied. Highly tart with an odd baby shrimp forwardness into a mid-palate of blackberries. Strange.

From tap. Red color with off white head. Yeasty aroma and light malty, funky, tart fruity, berries. Sweet and acidic taste like aroma. Light to medium oily body with soft carbonation.
