[ As Acorn The 13th Noel ].Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, dark malt, roasted, moderate hoppy, grass, citrus, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask @ Stick or Twist, Leeds. Clear dark reddish-brown with a thin head. Strongish winter warmer with some sticky winter fruits in both aroma and taste. Thereโs some liquorice and a hint of spice.

Cask at the CP&K, 21/12/15. Rich chestnut brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is earthy fruit, light tobacco, spice, fruit loaf, toasted brown sugar. Taste comprises rich malt, toffee, light spice, biscuit, dates, figs, fruit cake. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent enough offering.
