Bottle. Copper colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is dried fruits, some bourbon, mild toasted tones with some alcohol and a bit spicy tones to it as well. Flavour is caramel, some dried fruits, mild alcohol, some plum, figs, raisins and a bit spicy and alcohol tones to it.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 2022, from the brewery, 20221007) The beer poured mahogany coloured and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had malts, wood, vanilla and toffee. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, wood, malts, vanilla and bitterness. Aftertaste was woody, malty and bitter. Very little sweetness which was good. Subtle barrel notes and good malt flavours. Tasty.

33 cl bottle @ St. Mary's Park, BB 2022 Aroma has strong butter tones and diacetyl and quite nothing else. Flavour has buttery tones, some sweetish malt and toffee. Also alcohol. A disappointment.

Bottle 0.33l at home, Nivala. BBE 2022. Color is slightly cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Ripe fruits, some hints of whiskey, some bread and malts. Not much barrel elements, little bit of simple but I like lots of bready mellow and soft malty body. Nice! TOP3 Finnish Barley wines ever.
