Beer and coastlines. Condensation bleeding down the can, water washing over rocks. Our warm weather seasonal is pure Vallejo – west coast crisp, Carr’s® cracker clean, white grape jelly, under ripe peach, fastidious IPA that’s sure to unbutton every bit of tension you’ve been lugging around town. The warmth is close. Drag a four-pack out the water’s edge. Beer was invented for this.

Draft @ BBP.

Can 1 pint. Pours an almost clear yellow with a white head. Hoppy, herbal aroma, rich in lupulins - dank. Medium body, fruity and dry, chalky. Dry finish with a rather subdued bitterness. 300818

Can. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Thin malts, mildly sweet and slightly grainy. Smooth pine. Little tangy orange peel. Touches of lemon and tangerine. Whisper of ripe mango. Light and slightly tangy bitter finish. Inoffensive but lacks a centre. Weak malt backbone and a slightly thin hops, yet still, somehow, okay.

Can from Cotteridge Wines; clear golden amber pour with a bubbly white head, aroma has sweet malts and tangerine, taste has crisp malts, mellow citrus, some pine, quite an old school refreshing well balanced IPA

Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange, tomato, watermelon, herbs and grapefruit. Flavour of menthol, orange and bitter hops. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A clean, bitter IPA - like they all used to be a couple of years ago before the NE IPA craze. This is great.

Tap @Luppolo Station in Rome. Golden hazy with a white adhesive foam. Nose: pretty malty, resinous, straight-forward ipa aroma. Mouth: refreshing thirst-quenching ipa, grapefruit, resinous bitterness. Lovely.

Can from Craft Brewed, special Nashville Distro. Pours a clear gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Tangerine & natsumikan forward nose, light iyokan aromas. Pithy citrus & a pillowy mouthfeel, light pithy bitterness on the finish. Honey and pithy bitterness on the finish. Great west coast style.
