Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color ale with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet cookies notes with some vanilla notes is quite enticing. Taste is a good mix of sweet cookie notes with some vanilla notes and residual sugar notes. Body is full with nice creamy texture and good carbonation with no apparent alcohol notes. Enjoyable pasty stout even though residual sugar shows a bit too much.

Tasting at Phill's, bottle
Black colour, oily, no head, a lot of floating things. Nice aroma of chocolate, cookies, light leather. Sweet but lean, good chocolate flavour, sweet nuts, hazelnuts spread, vanilla; less "dark" than an Oreo, but this one is very close anyway; warming alcohol. Excellent.

500ml (thx, Chris S.!) at Phill's place shared with Alex. Appearance: dark brown with a weak brown head. Aroma: Oreo cookies, vanilla, chocolate. Taste: along the same lines, thick and sweet. Overall: very nice.
