Dark brown colour, near black. Aroma of raisins, rum, caramel. Full bodied; it's sweet; strong caramel flavour, some malt, but not the profile of classic English Barley Wines; rum soaked raisins, which means, there is some fruit too; low to medium bitterness; yes, ther eis some alcohol, but not excessive.
Very good.

16oz (thx, Brian C.!) @ Ryan's shared with Alex. 13.7% ABV. Appearance: brown with no head. Aroma: rich barrel forward, some sweetness and caramel (smelled from the can as from the glass it was different). Taste: along the same, moderately sweet, rum barrel, raisins. Overall: good one. Pretty happy I got this one. The brewer went up in terms of his barrel aging work since gis first releases.

Poured from 473mL can. Very dark brown with small beige head. Mild rum, raisin, caramel, molasses. Not amazing, but very nice. Perhaps the aging time has added to the complexity.

500mL bottle, courtesy of wilco (thanks Mike), pours a deep dark mahogany with a medium beige head. Aroma is very malty, with lots of caramel, bready malt, some dark fruits, and a bit of rum. Flavour is fairly hot, with moderate rum barrel presence, caramel, and bready malt. Very chewy, with little depth or complexity, and a somewhat chalky mouthfeel. The booze becomes hotter on the back-end with each additional sip. Pleasant, but harsh and unrefined.

Bottle: Poured a murky brown color ale with an almost non-existent head with limited carbonation and no lacing. Aroma of unrefined grain malt notes with some rum notes is OK. Taste is a mix of unrefined grain notes with some rum, light oak with some more or less attenuated residual sugar notes. Body is pretty full with almost no carbonation and light warming alcohol notes. Not bad but would improve with some clean-up of flavours and more balance.
