Draft. A golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The falvor is sweet with notes of malt and lighter notes of straw, leading to a lightly bitter finish. The body is light. Boring.

12 oz bottle into English pint. Aroma is a little spicy, a little sweet; floral. Pours pale golden with small head, decent lacing. After tasting, my first thought is: weird. I really don’t know quite what to make of it. It’s bland, that’s for sure, but there are no off-notes. A vast improvement over your average macro light lager, but, and here I want to use the word dull because it doesn’t do much of anything interesting to the taste buds...okay, where did my thought processes go? It’s a little salty, too. Carbonation is medium. I think it would make a great lawnmower beer--something you don’t have to think too much about, but will quench the thirst in the sweltering heat. It’s February, however. My lawnmower has a cape on right now and is hiding from the sun, so....I’m sure the score would be higher in the summer time is what I’m getting at. I think. The only other craft light beer I’ve ever had is Sam Adams Light, and I would much rather drink this, not for quality reasons, mind you, but because Sam Adams Light is too malty for my liking. My overall assessment is that this is interesting, yet dull. It’s a contradiction, I know, but I don’t know how else I can explain this strange beer.

12 ounce bottle from a sampler. Pours a slightly hazy gold color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of nutty malt notes as well as caramel and peaches. Taste is pale malts, nuts, bread, bitter and leafy hop finish. Medium bodied. Decent beer.

Pour is a bright golden with a small fizzy white head. Aroma is light malts and corn. Flavor is more pale malts and very little if any hop presence. Probably more body then a macro lite but its ok to have for sunday sipping with the low abv.

From tap Yard House in San Diego. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild malty. Cornish and malty flavoured. Light bitterness coming though. Bitter, dry and light fruity hoppy finish.

Tastes very unexciting. Looks like a pale lager, but basically has as little taste as possible to be offended at. Not interesting at all. Waste of space in the mix pack.

Pours clear gold with micro thin white head. The aroma is bit grainy with floral hops, a sense of esters and a touch of lemon. The taste consists of both a grainy malt and floral hop bite enhanced by carbonation. Soon after the water thin body becomes alarmingly apparent. By midway I get a sense of citrus and esters mixing with grain and floral hops as well as a note of sweet malts. Not something I’d try again. Just too thin, watered down and lacking.

Bottle BevMo in Natomas. Gold color with a fizzy white head. Smells rather grainy. Near medium body with fizzy carbonation. Flavor starts grainy and ends up a bit towards paper. There is some hop at the finish. All that being said, it drinks ok, if you don’t sip and savor.
