Draft. A chestnut brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops combined with lighter notes of roasted malt - but the aroma is quite light. The flavor is sweet with light notes of roasted malt and caramel, leading to a dry and lightly roasted finish. Not much porter

A dark brown porter with a thin lacing moka head. A very light chocolate with that boiled beans notes. In mouth, a rather light porter with light bitter chocolates, a bit of coffee, and some weird vegetal notes, not very good. Lighter bodied. On tap at brewpub, August 27 2009.

From tap at the brewpu. Pours dark brown to black with a small, creamy dense and tan head. Aroma is roasted malty. A little vague. Sweet malt flavoured, dark and light liqourice note. Mild bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel. Lingering roasted and light liqourice bitter finish.

Draft at the brewpub. Black color with a creamy beige/tan head. Aromas of toasted malt and something that could be coffee. Very creamy and about medium in body. Flavor is smooth burnt malt and smoething approaching mocha. Finishes smooth, fairly dry. Rather tasty.
