Rosenfrisk - Inbitna vinälskare kan ibland sakna syra i en torr traditionell mjöd. Rosenkvitten, är en extremt sur och hård frukt som adderar både tydlig syra och en rosenkaraktär till en mjödmust. Syran är så hög att det inte krävs speciellt mycket frukt för att nå önskvärd nivå. Kombinationen är på många sätt ideal. Honungen är tagen från Mjödhamnens hemtrakter i Bergslagen, medan de ekologiska rosenkvitten kommer från Stusshyttan, utanför Avesta.

Bottle 750ml. @ MBWF 2017 [ Malmö- Öl & Whiskyfestival 2017 ], Malmömässan, Mässgatan 6, 215 32 Malmö, Sweden. [ As Mjödhamnen Rosenfrisk ].Clear light yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy honey, fruity honey, honey wine, light apple, light green apples. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a average duration, honey, wine, rosehips, light green apple, tart notes. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. (Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 7 Oct 2016) Pale greenish yellow colour, no head. Fruity nose with honey, grass and green apples. Fruity, vinous taste with notes of apples, honey, grass and flowers. Vinous, dryish finish. Full body, mainly dry but with a slight sweetness. Tasty and highly drinkable. Quite nice.

Appearance: Pale yellow colour with no head.
Aroma: Mild honey, sweet, some tart.
Body: Medium body, flat carbonation.
Flavour: Honey, fruit, tart.

Bottle. Pours a pale golden greenish color with no head. Has a fruity spicy floral honey aroma. Fruity spicy rosehip honey flavor. Has a sweetish spicy honey floral finish.

Bottled at Malmö Öl & Whisky Festival 2016.Clear pear color, thick legs. Sweet, honey scent. Light acidic, tart, berries taste. Light fizzy mouthfeel, tart finish. I liked the scent more than the taste.
