Draught @ One Pint Pub, Helsinki
Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of roasty malts and licorice, some grassy hoppiness and ash. Taste is roasty, dry and grainy with some licorice, ash and grass. Finish is roasty, bitter and dry with some licorice and ash. Okay dry stout with some bitter hoppiness. Not really a black IPA, though.

Draught @ One Pint. Aroma has nice roasted tones, some resin and licorice. Flavour has licorice, grapefruit, some ashy tones and coffee. A bit too much CO2 on palate. Anyhow, a black IPA for my taste, I like the licorice aromas here. Also, quite rich for this ABV.

Tap at Roosters, Oulu. Colour is almost black with slightly brownish white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, some citrus, chocolate, hops and roasted malts. Could be hoppier. This is just basic stout with hints of black IPA elements. Drinkability OK which is nice.

(Keg at Kahdet Kasvot, 20150307) The beer poured murky brown. Its head was small and white. Aroma had burnt malts,molasses and chocolate. Palate was rather full bodied with rather high carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, fruitiness, ash, dark chocolate, coffee and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and rather bitter. Rather good but bit too unbalanced.
