(Cask at Gallow’s Bird, 20140830) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness, orange and ginger. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, ginger, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, spicy, fruity and bitter. Not bad but thin and bit too spicy.

Cask at Gallow’s Bird, Espoo. Colour is cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Spices, ginger, some hints of fruits and malts. Little bit of musty, tacky but somehow interesting.

Cask @ Gallows Bird, Espoo
Pours orange with a smooth bubbly head. Aroma of fruits, hay, ginger and grass. Taste is smooth, fruity and grassy with some notes of ginger and hay. Finish is bitter, spicy and smooth with some fruitiness. Smooth, easy going blond ale with a touch of ginger. Quite balanced.

Aroma has hay, grain and ginger. Flavour has quite much ginger, some hayish grain and hints of cardboard. Musty, should be more on the refreshing side.
