Can from Honest Brew. Hazy golden body with lots of flecks floating beneath a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange peel, earth and green apple. Flavour of grapefruit pith and steel. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Not very polished but still quite enjoyable.

Gravity cask at the 2017 Robin Hood Beer Festival, Nottingham. Light, bright gold, with very little head. Gentle aroma of soft citrus. A touch of TCP. Nicely balanced taste: the intense sweetness of the initial sip is tempered with an aggressive bitterness neater the finish. The astringent note remains but always stays in the background. A delicious APA.

Bottle courtesy of John at Johnny Off L. in Rome Italy. Pours semi clear golden, tick creamy white head which stays there forever. Nose: fruity, peach and apricot. Mouth: balanced bitterness, a bit astringent but juicy with a decent bitterness. Balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from O’Brien’s, Athlone [161015]
Golden, clear, thin bubbly white head
Aroma of some tropical fruits, soft sweet fruits, dab of buttery caramel
Taste of caramel, some tropical fruit, soft grapefruit, some bitter citrus hops, but some butter biscuit. Not that keen on the malt base.
Palate - Medium carb, tad fizzy, medium body, soft sweet. Finish is quite drying, very bitter spicy zest linger, bit rough around the edges
Overall - Seemed a bit flawed to me. Will re-rate this in the future.
