Cask. Gravity. Rail Ale fest. Black with a firm cream head. Liquorice and ash. Lots of dark fruit. Taste is dry and earthy bitter. Medium body. Dry earthy fruity finish. Decent enough.

Cask at Lych Gate Tavern, Wolverhampton Pours almost black with a small beige head. Blueberries and liquorice in the nose. In the mouth there is an initial sharpness, but also an underlying smoothness. Blueberries, blackcurrants and lemon peel. The finish has lemon and some hops. Nice but not a typical porter.
