The Archdruid needed to ride to the ceremonies at the National Eisteddfod of Wales, eager to preside over The Crowning of the Bard. Short of timber, he used ancient magic to lash immobilized leprechauns into a river worthy craft. Notice the bejeweled chalice floating by the side of the Archdruid? It's filled with this Irish red ale we aged in Irish Whiskey barrels. An nidh is anamh, is é is iongataighe.

Bomber at home shared with Laura. Brownish red colored beer, the head disappears quickly. Aroma and flavor are malts, light tart, hmm this might not be in the best shape still. It's an old bottle and there is some "decay" in there definitely.

Hazy brown pour, small off white head. Aroma is quite woody, and and has a solid tangy tartness. Reminds me alot of a Flemish red, with some big barrel aging. Lots of wood, hints of vanilla and a strong scotch flavour at the end. Barrel isn’t in your face at the beginning, but I wasn’t expecting this tartness. The barrel really comes through in the finish and goes well with the fruity malts. Nice stuff.

(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with frothy, tan head. Fruity, malty nose with oak wood, caramel, red fruit, vanilla and sour cherries. Malty, fruity, tart taste with notes of caramel, sour cherries, red fruit, red-currant, oak wood, a touch of whisky and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Interesting and quite tasty, but the acidity feels a bit out of place. Quite nice.

Flaska från SB. Tack Vignale. Mycket fina söta krikon med lätt syrlig träig kärnsmak, lätt syrlig men mer fatkaraktär från whiskeyn i doften än i smaken. Gott

Bottled at AndySnow tasting. Hazy copper colour, lively head. Tart nose with some vanilla. Really tart with medium body and rounded, spritzy mouthfeel. Treacle and citric acid, some bourbon. Peppery finish with light bitterness. Most likely infected.
