Can to becher pint glass.
Appearance: light yellow color, mostly transparent with a three finger white foamy head, some bubbles interspersed in the head
Aroma: strong spruce tips, bready malt backbone
Flavor: sprucy sweet, earthy and woody character, malt backbone to balance, sprucy aftertaste
Texture: light bodied, pretty sessionable, smooth sailing along my tongue
Overall: nice easy drinking seasonal for this time of year when most of the time I usually want dark beers, this beer definitely helps break up the monotomy of those dark beers and allows me to want some food along with this.

16 oz can. Aroma is bold spruce. Maybe homey malts. Flavor follows with spruce being the main characteristic. Soft bitterness to balance the mall in the form of spruce. The brewer nailed what the end goal was. A bold spruce ale!

Can pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Hazy, dark gold with nice sparkle, good-sized head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma is strong spruce (almost industrial), milder citrus. Taste is strong spruce tips, similar to aroma. Smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Certainly not lacking in spruce! A bit too overpowering--wish there was more balance with the base ale. Still, if you like spruce, this might be the one for you.
