On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma media color cappuccino, non molto persistente. Al naso note di cioccolato, vaniglia, rum, caffè. In bocca è dolce ma non stucchevole come mi aspettavo, si fa bere bene, il finale è anche lievemente amaro. Corpo pieno, carbonazione medio-leggera. Molto buona.

Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phloen Chit, Bangkok. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, chocolate, coffee, boozy alcohol, light vanilla. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet with a rich, oily, roasty, chocolate, liqouirce boozy palate and a lingering alcohol bitter finish. Full bodied with flat carbonation. I was kinda hoping for more vanilla but sadly it didn’t happen.

Bottle shared with TomHendriksen, Roelzie86, Inoven. Opaque pitch black color, average sized brown colored head. Aroma is malts, vanilla indeed. Flavor is similar, malts, vanilla, soft roast, moderately bitter. Medium body and carbonation.

Fles gedeelt door Benzai, geprobeerd met Inoven en Roelzie1986. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met weinig schuim. Het heeft een gebrande moutige geur met tonen van koffie en vanille. De smaak is vol, chocola en vanille.

Keg at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell, London. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Rich, malty, chocolate, vanilla aroma. Tastes rich, malty, chocolate, vanilla, caramel. Very nice luxurious imperial stout from Prairie.
