Brewed with our bakery buds at Bread & Friends and inspired by their spelt and rye sourdough bread. To make this beer extra special we put lots of loaves (lol) of their bread into the mash along with some rye berries that had been toasted in the Bread & Friends oven before making their way into the beer. The beer pours a deep amber color with creamy white foam. The aroma presents with toasted rye bread, malt, caramel, and honey. The richness of this beer hits the palate with flavors of toasted bread, caramel, and malt sweetness; balanced beautifully with a moderate bitterness that reminds the drinker of lemon iced tea.
