Clear light gold pour. Small white head. Light bready malt aroma hints at citrus. Flavor is bittersweet citrus. Notes of stone fruit and pine. Crisp and flavorful.

Dewey pale ale: S 5 L3 F2 T3 O13 This is freaking stupid. The word 'american' in no place on the label, just dewey pale ale. We need an alias for this name. I did a search for Dewey Pale Ale and nothing come up. Even Dewey pale; the search engine could not, (well I mean the RB search function could not) – it simply could not ID name ‘deweys pale ale’ this as a beer, oh well;. so be it. I tried dewey beer and dewey pale. Well crap, anyway, this beer is pretty immature just like this many expedite beers. I like cheap pale beers and I guess this is s’posed to be one? Yea, at a buck, and it’s cheap - but it lacks all the kind features of a cheap American beer, which cost even less, thank you brandon of our US. It pours simply immature cloudy and pale present. Then you sip….. For sure, the flavor is a quick nasty brew of what an impromptu cheap ale can be. You know, toddler phenolic . If you emphasize that you got a strong APA or mild IPA - It’s rude, its nasty and possesses all the characteristics of a cheap quick impromptu ale, hehehehh. Yepper, its bitter & cloudy; in an adolescent kind of way; you know, like the stage many men get stuck in? Most cheap macro lagers are consistently without the rude ass stuff; you know, to give you some intimidation. Go figger; this is rude and young bitter and its simply cloudy unfiltered brew, without the dregs. At least they used a screen. Yea, then it finishes with the one “I don’t give a rat’s ass attitude. “

Reviewed from notes.
On tap at the brewpub.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-soft burnt orange, somewhat like copper color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head, dies off pretty quick, no lace.
The aroma had some grapefruit/citrusy hop qualities up front flowing over an \"old school\" style of an APA caramel malty backbone.
The flavor was basically the same as the aroma blending the sweet to the bitter fairly nice and punches the aftertaste and finish in the same sort of way.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Though the ABV seemed a bit high for the style, it does seem like the brewer hit that on, somewhat.
Overall, nicely done APA worthy of coming back to if I could.
