Odd looking skinny 12 oz can. Pop the lid and no lie, the room smells like cotton candy at the amusement park! Pour is clear pale and a big nice creamy foam head that fades in minutes. Very little carbonation but it is smooth and cutting on the palate. No bitterness in this and the cotton candy sweetness is present but its quite muted and controlled. Yes, this is much better than expected, it comes across like a controlled friendly mild ale with a tad of sweetness. I'd never think I'd like this but it is very nicely done. It especially puts those stupid ass pastry brews to shame. No bitterness, no cloying effects, just a simple flavored brew that finds a special place in my palates heart. Yes, finally a well done pastry brew that is enjoyable to both me and you.
