big pounder can for 3 bucks from from chalet. hazy off pale with a creamy white head, almost milkshake beer to the eye. nose is sweet hop flower perfume, that follows the nose with a little bit of pine odor. was expecting a big fat arrogant hop flavor blast, but up front it initially comes across a little bit mild on the taste buds. it introduces itself as a stronger APA for heavens sake. yes, the hop bitterness is there but its not over the top punching you in the face. juicy? not sure, not mouth coating like most of the so called juicy ipa. yea, getting to the middle, it hides its alky content well, you'd never know this was over 6%. not too sure what to think of this stuff, its certainly a little bitter but at the bottom end of the ipa bitterness scale, even if its that. you know, i hate real IPAs and this stuff goes down pretty easy; i'm thinken a real IPA lover may be disappointed in this. i feel i'm starting to feel a little more easy after I approach the bottom of the can, this is where the 7% really starts to shine thru. good co2 thorough out the session. finding ipas a menace, at least it provides a little mental relief after its consumed. there, you have it.

Solid NEIPA if a bit unremarkable. Juicy notes of peach, mandarin, pineapple, and lime lead to a moderately sweet back end, finishing with a touch of pine and a modest mineral bitterness. Good, but could use better balance between the bitter and sweet notes.
