Bottle from Aldi, accidentally froze slightly and thawed: Lemon and triscuit nose. Clear brass, medium head, nice lace. Chemical and soapy. Medium body, harsh mouthfeel. Thank goodness it was cheap.

Impulse ticker purchase at Aldi today. Bottle for 1$ pours clear pale with lots of bubbles. Typical mexy lager nose, some corn and such, but mild olfactory. First impression is that of a really bubbly mexican flavored brew, yes, plenty of cutting co2 in this, I like that cutting carbonating burn on the back of the throat! Taste is basic mexican lager, just a hint of non bitter citrus peel perhaps, like many other mexican brews; somebody squeezed a hint of lemon in there? Just asking. Yes, a very good yankee poser, by jenny! How about that? A new york based macro, making a fine mexican lager! Its gonna start another war. Yes, I'm not disappointed in this, I like civilized drinkable mexy lagers. There, you have it! Good job with this aldi/jenny effort. And it's cheap too!
