Peanut butter aroma, unripe berry on the edges. Clear amber, thin head. Very sweet malt, peanut overtones, no roast. Creamed corn finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Unbalanced.

Lord, I thought we’d made it past all this “white stout” horse shit. This pint’s no more a stout than the Capri Sun my kid had with dinner. It’s a peanut butter/marshmallow golden ale, it’s sweet as hell, it sucks, and let this be the end of it.

Honey color with a large foamy head that left great lacing. Sweet and toasty with vanilla cream and peanut. Long finish. Moderately full bodied

From a bottle I find it odd this was a pale colored brew. Yes it smells like peanut butter but now I see on the label it’s actually white stout. First taste is mild peanut butter, no real ill characteristics in this one. I am also surprised this stuff is actually 8%, you’d never know, it is so well behaved. In the middle, I do however pick up on some warming sensations on the way to the gullet. In the end I find the peanut flavor has no sign of artificial and its seems to be well balanced. Pretty good beer tasting experience!
