From a can the pour is hazy like New England IPA. Thick foamy white head fades rapidly. Permeating nose of off smelling perfumed hops. Big bitter nasty initial flavor of terribly on style heavy IPA. Borders into the impy double IPA territory with its mouth coating bastartized feel. Whew, quite an impact, the alky is up front with all that bitterness and is hard for this lager lover to take. Blah. You like IPA? Better put this on your bucket list and ignore my numbers, whew. What a nasty nellie of a beer tasting experience. I'd give this a 1/5 stars but at least the alky content makes it slightly worthwhile.
