total wine. Can as pictured. Almost clear pale. Initial nose is sweeter lager. Decent level of co2 on the uptake. Taste is a little uncivilized, but considering the 9+ percent alky content, it's not bad. Some fruit, orange is present. Somewhat rude in nature at times in the middle. Oh well, just another domestic high alky uncontrolled fruit beer. There, you have it.

12 oz. can, 9.6% ABV
AROMA: It has a little bit of dankiness to the nose followed by a faint orange scent. If I put my nose close enough I get an orange smell that reminds me of the old Orange Crush soda from my youth.
APPEARANCE: Pours a translucent amber-orange with a thin, wispy, white head that dissipates almost instantaneously and has no lacing.
TASTE: My palate is first hit with orange flavor and then followed by sweetness. The finish has a very mild bitterness that fades quickly. Honestly, the flavor is very similar to an orange soda, just not as sweet.
MOUTHFEEL: Medium-bodied with a somewhat rough texture and average carbonation.
OVERALL: I'm not really impressed with this beer. About the only aspect that I can give it a "plus" for is its high ABV. Everything else, I would rate as medicore or poor. It's not horrible, mind you, but it's nothing special either. Given that they are asking a craft beer price for it, I would suggest saving your money and buying something else. There are plenty of better craft beers that are in the same price range or cheaper. I got it as a BOGO at my local supermarket, so I'm too upset about my purchase. However, even as a BOGO, I wouldn't buy it again. Of course, if you like high-octane orange soda, then this might be the beer for you.

Pours clear amber with a thin white head. Aroma of blood orange. Taste has bright Valencia orange, some mild hop. Palate has mild smokey notes, more orange, some ethanolic notes. Good.

12 oz. can from Total Wine - Melbourne. Pours a crystal clear gold color with a small white head and fair retention. A few spots of lacing. Barely there citrus notes; Almost no aroma. Initial bread flavor that's quickly washed away by a strong boozy finish. Tastes a lot like a malt liquor, just a little smoother. Any would-be orange flavor is lost in alcohol. Way too strong to enjoy. The 9.6% ABV is obvious. This is an imperial blonde ale, not a fruit beer.

Interesting. Pours with a strong orange smell, but not orange juice, more like orange oil and rind. Golden, modest head. Flavor is candied malts, orange oil, semi-sweet. Hint of floral or grassy hops, very light bitterness, finishes otherwise a bit sweet and tart, mildly astringent. This would probably work nicely as a low ABV session beer, but here as a very high (9.6!) alcohol beer, it got a liqueur quality, also that sweet leaning malt gives off a malt liquor effect. I liked it at first but I really don't want to finish it. Halfway through the glass I'm getting the impression someone combined a corn-sweet malt liquor with orange oil, and well, that shouldn't be a thing. Somethings shouldn't be imperialized.
