OK, got this cheaper beer at one of the total wine stores I think. Mild friendly slightly malty olfactory. It pours a delicious looking stout. It appears to be large and in charge with a fantastic head! Even tho it doesn't have a widget, its pour is like one that does. Nice big rocky head fer sher, quite surprised. Taste is fairly flat, but it has a good body for only 4%. Decent easy stout, a very good example of stout from the old country. Yes, a quite fine and civilized example of what stout should be, and it even has some co2 in it that makes it much more tolerable for me. Good job on this one OB! No real bitter effects. Very tolerable and tasty to the finish. I enjoyed this experience.

Sample at Daily Growler UA during the Bowling Green Beer Works Columbus Debut event on 02/28/2020. Dark brown pour with a medium tan head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Roast malt, chocolate and coffee aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of burnt malt, coffee and bittersweet chocolate. Roasty finish with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
